1. What Inka Drop is
Inka Drop lets a device send files directly to another device over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection introduced by a one-time code. Files are transferred device-to-device and are not stored on our servers.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Inka Drop to send unlawful, infringing, harmful or malicious content, or to violate anyone's rights. You are solely responsible for the files you send and receive.
3. Plans & payment
Free, once-off (R49), Standard (R59/month) and Unlimited (R99/month) plans are offered. Paid access is unlocked with a licence key issued after payment; subscription keys expire and require renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Privacy
We do not store your files. Connection set-up uses third-party signalling and relay servers only to establish the link. Basic device settings (theme, accent, usage counts) are stored locally on your device. We also keep anonymous usage counts — how many transfers happen, the broad file category (PDF, image, Word/Excel, other), a rounded size, and whether a connection succeeded — so we can keep the service working. These are totals only: we do not record file names, file contents, IP addresses, or any identifier that could link a transfer to you or your device.
5. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty. Transfer speed and success depend on your networks and devices. We are not liable for lost, delayed or corrupted transfers.
